The Dubai World Cup is a Thoroughbred horse race that has been held annually since 1996 at the Meydan Racecourse in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It offers nine races, eight of those are Thoroughbred races and one Purebred Arabian race. The Dubai World Cup is the final race of Dubai World Cup night.

The Dubai World cup is held on the last Saturday in March every year. The Dubai World Cup is part of the Dubai World Cup Night of races, and has carried a purse of $10,000,000 USD since 2010, making it the world's richest horse race.

The full day of racing has a total of US$27.25 million in prize money across the nine-race card. In addition to the Dubai World cup at US$10 million, the Dubai Sheema and Classic Dubai Duty Free both carry a hefty purse of US$5 million for each race. These horse racing events all hold Group 1 status.
